M249S A-Gunner QCB Strap for PARA & Full Stock

M249S A-Gunner Quick Change Barrel Charging Handle Retention Strap for the PARA Stock or the Full Stock.  If you are tired of having to use the cumbersome yellow magazine block to perform barrel changes on your FN M249S PARA or M249S Full Stock, then we have the product for you.  Custom made M249S Assistant Gunner Quick Change Barrel Charging Handle Strap.  This extremely convenient harness mounts to the stock of your M249S PARA or M249s Full Stock and charges the carrier group and holds the bolt out of battery which will allow you to perform a quick barrel change.

For the M249S PARA, simply wrap the velcro harness loosely around the PARA stock tubes towards the front of the stock, then place the D-Ring on the slider onto the charging handle.  Pull the webbing loop towards the rear and attach the pull tab D-Ring to the Snap Shackle.  Depress the barrel change lever and remove the barrel. 

For the M249S Full Stock, simply wrap the velcro harness tightly around the small of the stock towards the front of the stock, then place the D-Ring on the slider onto the charging handle.  Pull the webbing loop towards the rear and attach the pull tab D-Ring to the Snap Shackle.  Depress the barrel change lever and remove the barrel. 

Install the second barrel, then either pull the Snap Shackle Lanyard to release the charging handle allowing the bold carrier group to slide back into battery, or pull the charging handle to the rear and slide the attached D-Ring off as the charging handle is allowed to slip out of your hand.

This allows you to perform rapid single person barrel changes on your semiautomatic M249S PARA or M249S Full Stock without having to reposition your body from prone, keeping you from having to jack around with a magazine block.  

You won't have to carry around the magazine block for barrel changes anymore.

The A-Gunner Charging Handle Strap remains conveniently attached to the stock with minimal presence.

Make sure that you are aware of the condition of your weapon prior to using this A-Gunner Charging Handle Strap.  This strap IS NOT DESIGNED TO BE A SAFETY OR MAGAZINE BLOCK BOLT HOLD OPEN SAFETY.  This strap is only to be used when the weapon is un-chambered, ammo belt and magazines removed from the magwell, and or the feed tray, and is pointed in a safe direction, and while in between actively firing the weapon on a hot range to change out a hot barrel for a spare barrel.  In other words, use at your own risk, and use common sense while doing so.  This device is only to assist in rapid barrel changes when the weapon is unloaded.  It is only designed to assist in keeping the bolt out of battery for a rapid barrel change.
