Extended UNIVERSAL- P.R.W. (Positive Retention Wrap) Adapter The Extended Universal-P.R.W. Adapter is constructed of heavy duty thinner Mil-Spec W-43668 T/3 webbing, a male side release buckle, and hook & loop Velcro. The Extended P.R.W. can be wrapped around the stock of a weapon such as a SIG-556 Classic, The front of a SOCOM-16 hand guard, Front of an M1A, or M-16, or any other piece of equipment or weapon that you need to sling. The hook & loop Velcro retention tab prevents the adapter from falling off of the weapon or piece of equipment when not connected to the sling. This version comes with a sling retention tab to retain its location while installed on the front of the weapon using the existing sling attachment swivel. It relocates the sling attachment to the side of the weapon instead of underneath the weapon.
The Extended Positive Retention WRAP has a circumference range of 6.5" to 9".
Bought a couple of these to add to weapons of which that I didn't have a sling for and just to be able to use the one I've got on them. This piece is fantastic, ample room to wrap around the thickest stock, clicks right into my Urban ERT sling, great piece of gear that's well stitched too. I highly recommend and do all of the time.
