    Patrol Vest Sling

Posted by Larry Waford on Aug 5 2016

The Patrol Vest Sling is a great product. I really like the idea of being able to access my sling quickly without having to use any external equipment. It even allows me to punch out with my shotgun to help shoulder the weapon and transition to the weak side. The only drawback is that the sling still seems to rub my neck near the front. The retaining rings don't keep it away from the neck enough. I used some padded tennis racket grip tape to retain it better. I had to use it to also cover piece of the sling in the front where it is stitched. It was really abrasive there as well. I may try to add some type of sling pad in the future that comes down around the side of the neck . I'm going to make the sling work because of love the concept of it. Comfort is secondary to function in my opinion. I would also like to add that I will be purchasing more products from Urban ERT in the future due to innovative designs and great customer service. Concealed patrol vest sling

Great product. Attachment point to vest is strong. Much faster than "swimming" thru typical single point sling. Ride is adjustable so you can identify ideal height. Product is centered on vest for easy transitions from strong to support side. Only improvement as of this review would be to use a hook and loop to attach to vest shoulder strap as the suspension systems on vest now often attach on the inside of carrier, which means a complete disassemble during each wash of the carrier.
