I recently completed my latest AR build and ordered a sling adapter so that I can switch between weapons using the same primary sling, allowing quick disconnect between each rifle. I requested that the male latch be substituted with a d ring. It was perfect for a STG 556 with forward assist. Fits perfectly in front of magazine, behind hand grip guard, and under the raised picatinny rail. It uses Velcro which I was worried would not be tight enough and therefore rotate. It does not at all. Tried Blackhawks adapter and could not get tight enough due to buckle. So this is perfect. Better than Israeli industries d ring adapter as it has an additional 1/2 inch of material on d ring that stretches out from where it attaches allowing quick latch attachment and access to all functions of gun. Israeli industries version does not. Only change I would make is to have the male version of the Velcro ( non cushy side) stretch a bit farther to cover about 1/2 inch of cushy Velcro that remains open to the elements. That way not dirt or grime. May call to ask if company can do that. Other than that...... Perfect and American made... By the way great customer service ... Representative answered all my questions. Real nice guy and extremely knowledgeable.
